In the groups, we are asked to identify our feelings and to share with our peers what is going on with us today. We relate our similar experiences and feelings to each other and thus realise that we are not alone and need not be ashamed. Together, we then help each other plan how to deal with our issues. Groups are facilitated by a Recovery Coach and/or people in long-term recovery.Find out more »
A group aimed at those who have previous or current experience of the criminal justice system or at risk of becoming involved. The group is a 16 week rolling programme that explores substance misuse and offending behaviours along with practical sessions around issues such as housing and benefits and social activities.Find out more »
SMART stands for ‘Self Management And Recovery Training’. SMART Recovery is a science-based programme to help people manage their recovery from any type of addictive behaviour. This includes addictive behaviour with substances such as alcohol, nicotine or drugs, or compulsive behaviours such as gambling, sex, eating, shopping, self-harming and so on.Find out more »
This group is aimed at clients who are parents. The main focus and purpose of the group is to help you expand skills and confidence in your parenting and to help build a strong family foundation.
