About Calderdale in Recovery

Calderdale in Recovery is an organisation open to anyone who is interested in all aspects of Recovery from a drink or drug problem.  It is for individuals, friends and families, supporters, people who work in the field and organisations who wish to back and support our cause.

Calderdale in Recovery is a constituted, not for profit organisation operating throughout Calderdale, West Yorkshire and operates from its headquarters in Halifax.

Our Aims

Promotion

To promote that recovery from addiction is possible to the people of Calderdale

Health & Wellbeing

To improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Calderdale affected by addiction

Support Networks

To develop support networks to help individuals maintain their recovery from addiction

Community

To develop community based opportunities to support recovery through volunteering, enterprise, participation and networking

Reduce Stigma

To reduce the stigma attached to those affected by addiction in Calderdale

Membership

Members

Membership of Calderdale in Recovery (Members) is open to individuals over 18 who live in Calderdale and are in recovery from addiction and who are interested in furthering the work of Calderdale in Recovery and who have paid any annual subscription agreed by the Management Committee.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership (Associate Members) of Calderdale in Recovery is open to individuals over 18 who live in Calderdale and who are interested in furthering the work of Calderdale in Recovery and who have paid any annual subscription agreed by the Management Committee.

Group Membership

Group membership (Group Members) of Calderdale in Recovery is open to organisations for sponsorship purposes at the discretion of the Management Committee and who have paid any annual subscription agreed by the Management Committee.
